Rone’s works superimpose and connect between themselves through the “pictorial stories” created by the artist. Such stories are based upon that perpetual search in the fascinating world of essentialized colors and shapes. Thus, playing with construction and deconstruction in painting, he reaches that intuited, but unknown beauty, found at the frontier between the real and the abstract that govern us.
From his recent personal exhibitions we mention: Rains in the Month of Mars – Bucharest 2009, Arte.com Gallery, Rains/Regen – Berlin 2010, Fantom Gallery, Seven Dwarves/Sieben Zwerge – Berlin 2011, Fantom Gallery and 12 Träumer (B+C)/12 Dreamers (B+C) – Berlin May-June 2014, Fantom Gallery. His works are part of private collections throughout the world, among which the contemporary art collection of Raiffeisen Evolution Bucharest and Microsoft Romania.
